LOL Perfume
I love LOL Cats. Like, I know, it’s not in the least bit cool anymore, and given the number of spinoffs like LOL President and LOL Trek, the whole concept has totally jumped the shark by now. But, meh, I was never cool or hip to start with, so why let that stop me from deciding LOL Perfume is a necessary adjuvant to the phenomenon?
UPDATES at bottom of post!

These perhaps aren’t the best selections for a LOL Perfume, they were just the ones that came up first when I typed in general search engine terms for “perfume ads.” Have better ones you can make? Let’s include them! Hell, why not? Point me with a link to an ad or perfume image with your desired caption, and I’ll add it on! Or, if you have your own graphic editing software and a hosting site, direct us towards the link to your finished LOL Perfume.

Perfect!!! Love them all.
The appeal of LOL Cats is very mysterious to me. I find them addictive. There are so many variants by now that you can literally while away the entire morning on them…and sometimes, I do.

Thanks Robin. Despite myself, I always crack up at the LOL Cats. Especially the “I made you a cookie, but I eated it all” one. Boingboing.net has done an insane job tracking all the variants of the macro themes. I try to turn away… but I cannot turn away. The LOL Maps ones are insanely addictive, too.

very funny! I went to a Sniffa workshop and we previewed a great film by an NYU masters student.. In it, one of the Le Labo founders noted that they don’t need a naked woman to sell perfume. He’s right - great fragrance doesn’t need a sexy photo or silly hype. I’ve always hated the Calvin Klein ads and everyone else is just as silly. Thanks for the laughs!

Andy, kuri, March, benvenuta (thanks for the link to the language blog, very cool site), Flora, chayaruchama, helg, deepo (would love to see that film!), Fragrant Funster, Lyss, Sali and Flora:
THANK YOU! :)
F.F., Flora, and others: my email is so very horribly mucked up, and despite my attempts to fix the durned thing’s set up, it is STILL mucked. Just use the following addy for everything until I change servers (which won’t be for a couple more months, unfortunately!) :
seldomnice at yahoo dot com
Only, you know, without the spaces and the correct symbols, heh!
