This cologne i got on a card in the morning, and even at night it stil has the a nice fragrance. Its top notes are great..however theyre pretty common. The middle notes are pretty unique and really nice smelling! Finally, the base notes are the BOMB! I love it so much that ive been smelling the damn card for hours! lol
My girlfriend cant get her hand off my general for some reason today! :O (got some sprayed on me) or maybe its just coz im Australia’s sexiest man! :D *arrogance* :P

I find Flowerbomb and Antidote so utterly unalike - you are quite lucky she seems to be okay with only using the Flowerbomb, heh! I think the very fact it is not a prototypical “masculine” fragrance is part of its charm - so many he-man musks floating around out there that Antidote comes as a stark contrast of good taste I think. It’s probably one of the very few new releases in the past year or so that I like enough to revisit it frequently, which is nice, since a ton of my time wearing fragrances tends to be for testing rather than for pure pleasure. Hopefully you’ll be kind enough to share your bottle at least once in a blue moon with your girlfriend :)

I tried a tester of this in Jenners in Edinburgh (UK), and my girlfriend (half an hour later, which would tie in with your bergamot/drydown comments) declared it so good that we had to buy a bottle. (I’ve since bought her a bottle of the corresponding feminine fragrance, “Flowerbomb” so that she won’t use my “antidote”! So yes it isn’t the most masculine fragrance ever created, but some ladies seem to like that)

I have bought a bottle, and regardless of whether or not its hugely new different or subtle, particularly when its had a little time to mature it quite simply (I cannot match here the dulcet tones of the article) SMELLS DAMNED GOOD!

Many women (and men) have commented favourably on the perfume and asked what it is.

This really is one not to miss in my opinion, nicer and more interesting than any others in a similar price range that I have tried recently.

Interestingly enough, I tried this today at Nordstrom. If any of you have been to the Venetian in Vegas, this scent smells a lot like the scent that they pump into the Casino. I know that sounds strange, but I love it! It brings back memories of vacation!

Yup, it’s ALL about that scrummy drydown. I am so glad you dug it! I was scared I’d be the only female who felt that way! Good to know I’m in good company about it. It is a bit masculine because of the opening, but I strongly feel like upon the middle and drydown it becomes socially acceptable to be worn by either gender.

Hey, K — I tried it! I love the bottle, that drippy thing is actually really cool up close. It smells a lot like the new Prada PH in my opinion, but more masculine (! — which gives you an idea how foofy the Prada is…)

The drydown made me want to purr.

March, no not yet… I’m so behind, really, with keeping up this year. Sigh.

Marina, it’s definitely sweet for a men’s. Not sure if it’ll be up your alley or not, though, because I can kind of see you taking exception to the cornball opening notes.

Victoria, well, worth a spray at the counter whenever it starts to spread out to all the stores.

Robin, I think it IS still exclusive to Saks, but I’m sure it’s one of those things like with Fresh’s Cannabis Santal where it was “exclusive” for only a short while before you could shop for it at other places, too. I’d bet it’ll be like Flowerbomb, where it was tricky to located until enough word of mouth spread around that other retailers wanted to sell it, too.
