A Review in Fairy Tale: Maître Parfumeur et Gantier’s Route du Vetiver

I’ll leave it to you to decide what to make of this pictorial review.
(Once again, I apologize for a crummy photoshopping job.)

My God! You have captured it ALMOST EXACTLY! I do think you need a photo of feet in there (or perhaps a shark with feet? Celery with feet?) All MPGs smell like feet to me.

So, dear story-teller, is it a happy end for you or not so happy? It’s hard to judge by the look at that shark’s “face”, because its grin may be interpreted both as extatic and as angry.
I am choosing to think it all ends well, because I like Route de Vetiver a lot. :-)

Wow…now I have to try this one too.
The only MPG I’ve tried so far is Fraicheur Muskissime, and it was meh on me. But I like vetiver, and I laughed really hard at your review, (and the photoshopping didn’t seem that lousy to me.) Hope your husband and son are feeling better…

This is utterly hilarious! I can’t wait to hear more.

Hilarious! I am literally laughing out loud.

LOL! But do you like it?

March, feet? No, I don’t get feet. I do get some rot, though. Meaning, this one verges on the smell of elegant decay - I think you might even be able to smell the decline of Western Civilization in RdV because of its decandent rot.
Marina, well, this is a fairly toothy vetiver, and I figured the shark ought to work for that. (Thus, “el fin” rather than just “the end.” Making terrible puns is my Achilles’ Heel.) I admire this scent quite a bit, but I can NOT wear it at all. It almost makes me a little sick, even. Boy is it toothy.
sybil, thanks. I dunno about this one. You have to really, and I mean super-really, like grass stain smell to enjoy Route. It holds nothing back.
Ina, I will remember to include future fairy tales in the future just for you :)
Victoria, thanks, always glad to oblige you with a chuckle for the day.
Thanks Robin, and no I don’t like it for myself. But, ay, what a rather glorious thing it is!

ROTFL - Perfect!
