Andy, I'm actually more a Diet Coke with lemon or lime kind of a gal, but every so often I crave the full on sugar version.

And Dr. Pepper would be a fun little fragrance note, so thanks for those ideas Marlen.

Marina, I know.. I've had the same hesitations even though it's no more than some at the drugstore cost. But I'd been sitting on an Amazon.com gift certificate for a while waiting to see if they got in a book I've been looking for, and when Marlen brought them back to my attention, I decided to just blow book money on perfume instead, heh.

Robin, I've never heard of that doled out for when you're sick, but I still remember this soda shop that was open when I was a kid, and they had syrup versions of all those different flavors, including cola syrup. I have to say, and this might just be nostalgia talking, that those tasted so much better than the stuff that gets bottled up in plastic and aluminum cans.

Cait, I don't think that this is "fizzy" in smell exactly, though I'm guessing that might be why some of the spice is in there? I think you'll have fun with it, certainly.

Victoria, you know, I've heard that about Bobo. I have a sample I have yet to get around to trying of it, so I'll be looking forward to that aspect of it when I do :)

Like I said elsewhere, I want to get this to remind me of the lollipops that came out of the pierrot head in the cola flavor I used to get after piano lessons. On my way to fizz land. Thanks for the tip!

When I was a little girl & had an upset stomach, I was always given a few teaspoons of something called "Cola syrup", poured over crushed ice. I loved that smell. Will have to look for this one.

Katie,
I've been lemming this for ages. Why haven't I caved on a scent that costs under $20, you might ask. Well...it's that juevenille aspect you were talking about. But there is no stopping me now! :-)

Oh, Andy - a Dr. Pepper Perfume? You must try Escada Collection or Givenchy Oblique Rewind!

Katie - thanks for the review, I've gotta try this!

I couldn't resist... and just bought a 1.5 l bottle of coke. I hadn't had it for months. Still feels good. Perfumery wise it wouldn't be it for me, though. I want a Dr. Pepper perfume.....

There's the Peach and the Mure Musc, neither of which are too bad, though obviously they are extremely simple scents.
