I was so thrilled to read yor fabulous review on this fragrance. I first smelt it 3 years ago, and loathed it . It almost made me gag. OK, this is not uncommon for me - to hate a fragrance, and then fall in love. About a week later, I began to "smell" AP, driving in my car, going about the day, and knew I had to revisit. BANG, I LOVED it. I can wear it summer and winter, day and night, and I feel so chic and confident in it. I sniff my wrist all day,I feel it surrounding me as I move, and I constantly get compliments on it. It does not smell like anything else, and is long lasting on me. It is summer now in Sydney, and Diorrisimo, a hot weather fave of mine(in the Parfum) I can no longer wear. My dear mother in law loved it on me, and now wears it. She is in a nursing home, so now the scent, conjures up the associated smells of nursing homes, and it is ruined for me. Any ideas on how I can wear it again?
I love your reviews, you are so clever at identifying all the notes in the perfumes, and putting them into words!
